Dobinsons Front Twin Tube Shocks are designed for the 1998–2006 Toyota Land Cruiser 100 Series and Lexus LX470, suitable for long travel suspension setups with 2"+ of lift. These shocks can be used as direct replacements for stock shocks or paired with torsion bars lifted by 2 inches or more.
Engineered, developed, and tested in Australia by Dobinsons Spring & Suspension's in-house design engineers, these shocks are built to withstand the harshest conditions around the world. Dobinsons exports to over 40 countries, and quality is central to their design and manufacturing process. As a result, each shock is built to perform from the extreme heat and corrugations of the Australian outback to the freezing temperatures of a Russian winter.
Dobinsons Twin Tube Nitrogen Gas-Charged Shock Absorbers are constructed using the highest-quality internal and external components sourced globally. They offer a significant performance upgrade over factory shocks. Original shocks are prone to fade under load or during intense off-road use. In contrast, Dobinsons shocks feature larger bodies, bigger bores, and enhanced valving, all of which improve vehicle handling, stability, and dramatically reduce shock fade under heavy use or rough terrain.
