Fitting Instructions

Dobinsons bull-bars are manufactured from high-quality structural steel and are CNC cut, bent, and welded to ensure precise fitment, optimal strength, and long-lasting durability. These bull-bars come packed with features including airbag and winch compatibility, driving light mounts, turn signals, and fog light provisions. They also feature a heavy-duty black powder-coated finish, dual reinforced hi-lift jacking points, dual aerial mounts, and polyurethane bumper overriders (available on Deluxe and Stainless models only).

Reinforced bull-bar wing tips add extra durability, while a separate winch cradle mounts directly to the chassis, allowing the additional weight and winching load to be supported independently of the bull-bar. The main body is made from 3mm thick steel, with brackets of 4mm and 5mm thickness, and 1.6mm bash plates (note: some models may not include these plates).

The Classic Black and Classic Black Deluxe bull-bars feature 51mm upper loops (60mm for Land Cruiser 200 Series), while the Stainless Loop Deluxe models include a 76mm center loop and 51mm side loops. All bumpers are supplied in a black finish. Stainless Loop Deluxe bull-bars also include stainless steel loops for added style and strength.

Some promotional images may show color-matched or painted bumpers for display purposes. Custom color matching can be done locally by an automotive spray painter.

Please note that installing a bull-bar and/or winch adds weight to your vehicle, which may lower its ride height. We recommend upgrading to a matched pair of springs to maintain proper height and handling. Most bull-bars also come with center and side protection plates underneath to help protect critical components during off-road use.
