Fitting Instructions

Designed for the 1990 to 1997 Toyota Land Cruiser 80 Series and Lexus LX450, Dobinsons bull bars are manufactured from high-quality structural steel and are CNC cut, bent, and welded for precise fitment, optimum strength, and durability. Key features include airbag and winch compatibility, driving light mounts, turn signal and parking lights, a heavy-duty black powder-coated finish, dual reinforced hi-lift jacking points, dual aerial mounts, and reinforced bull-bar wing tips. The separate winch cradle-to-chassis mounting system allows excess weight and winching loads to be supported directly by the chassis. The bull bar is constructed with a 3mm thick main body, 4mm and 5mm thick brackets, 1.6mm bash plates, and 51mm upper loops on the Classic Black model. All bumpers are supplied in a black finish; some photos may show color-matched bumpers used for display purposes. Color matching can be performed by a local automotive spray painter if desired. Please note: due to the added weight when fitting a bull bar and/or winch, the vehicle’s ride height may lower; it is recommended to replace the front springs with a matched pair to compensate. Most bull bars also come with center and side protection plates underneath, offering crucial protection for vital components during off-road driving.
