Dobinsons IMS59-50222 High-Performance Front Struts – 56mm IMS Series
Note: Coil springs and top mounts not included. Professional assembly recommended.

Built for serious off-road performance, these Dobinsons IMS front struts are engineered to handle tough terrain and full loads with no shock fade. Designed for extended travel setups, they offer precision performance with race-inspired features and robust construction.

Key Features:

  • Fully rebuildable and re-valvable for long-term serviceability

  • Zero shock fade under heavy loads and all-terrain conditions

  • Direct, bolt-on replacement for easy installation

  • EDP surface protection for superior corrosion resistance

  • Heavy-duty, one-piece lower leg for added strength

  • High oil capacity to manage heat and maintain performance

  • 3-stage FKM HNBR sealing system for maximum durability and leak resistance

  • CNC-machined 6061 billet alloy piston with 50mm bore for optimal off-road handling

  • 56mm (2.2") shock body for improved fluid volume and heat dissipation

Fitment and Setup Notes:

  • Designed for extended travel with a 473mm extended length when droop spacer is used

  • Requires aftermarket upper control arms and a differential drop kit for proper fitment

  • For lifts under 2", the included droop spacer can be removed

  • Coil seat must be set precisely at 164mm (6.45") from the strut bushing eye

Important Installation Note:
Incorrect coil seat setup can result in damage to the shocks, springs, or vehicle. Refer to the measuring guide (black and white reference image) or contact us for detailed instructions.
